COLOUR

The first step in creating our sun lenses is colouring. Dried plastic granules are mixed with coloured powders in large rotating bins.

MOULDING

Once the plastic is coloured with pigments, it is melted and moulded with hydraulic presses that give shape to the lens.

WASHING AND COATING

The lenses are transferred to the washing area where they are treated with different products. A very thin anti-abrasive and anti-scratch film is applied as part of the coating process.

SHADING

To obtain different shades, the lenses are subjected to further colouration by immersion and then washed with ultrasounds and detergents.

ANTI-REFLECTION OR MIRROR COATING

Anti-reflective or mirroring treatments can also be applied to the lenses.

QUALITY CONTROL

Each lens is subjected to careful quality checks, performed either manually or with machinery.
